Vacant position available:
We require a boilermaker at Steelcore Structural Engineering on a contract basis with the possibility of extending to a full-time basis. Available for candidates that reside in the Johannesburg area.
Skills required:
1 x Boilermaker
- Certified boilermaker.
- 5 years’ experience as a Boilermaker in the Structural Steel Erection industry with contactable references.
Duties:
- Ensure sufficient task analysis are completed to carry work out safely.
- Perform assigned duties in a timely and safe manner.
- General Boiler making duties including use of grinding, cutting, welding, polishing, cropping, pressing, heat treatment and stress relieving of steels.
- Co-ordinate and work in a team environment.
- Maintain and use equipment as designed.
- Ensure that work is performed as per Job Cards or QCP’s and current schedule of works.
- Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and that documentation is completed on time
- Daily timecards are completed accurately and on time.
- Assist in the management of a harmonious environment, teambuilding and training of apprentices and employees as required.
- Adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
